​Project Manager 
​
Location: Atlanta HQ Office - Roswell, Georgia

​Summary: 
The Project Manager will assist in the review and evaluation of existing and to-be-built commercial real estate properties. The position involves conducting Property Condition Assessments (PCA) and walk-through surveys of major building systems, preparing and submitted technical reports that accurately describe findings (ASTM standards), and performing other related due diligence services. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
Duties and responsibilities of the position may include conducting:
  • ADA Compliance Assessments
  • Capital Improvement Forecast Analyses (i.e. creating a 10-Year Capital Reserve Analysis Spreadsheet)
  • Pay Application & Construction Reviews
  • Fire and Life Safety Assessments
  • Project Document Reviews
  • Project Cost Estimation & Budget Reviews

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.  
  • A minimum of 2 yrs of hands-on experience in architecture, engineering, project management, and/or construction. Work experience conducting Property Condition Assessments and preparing technical reports strongly preferred. 
  • The ideal candidate has an interest in design and construction, a strong understanding of building materials and construction methods, and possess a proven ability to delegate and manage multiple tasks, assignments, and changing priorities. 

​Position Requirements:
  • Ability to travel and work confidently from remote locations.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with SCGI employees and clients. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs including: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. ​
  • While performing the duties of the position, the employee may be required to climb, balance, crouch, kneel, and/or crawl. The employee may also occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
